This release is a big one. Whether you’re just getting started in the Hive or already running flows with your retail customers, you’ll find things faster, clearer, and easier to use across the board.
When inviting a customer to join the Hive, you can now include a personal message to go in the standard invitation email. Simply type your message in the new Message field on the Invite Customer dialog before sending.
When inviting a supplier to join the Hive, you can now include a personal message to go in the standard invitation email. Simply type your message in the new Message field on the Invite Supplier dialog before sending.
When a supplier shares products with you, those products now appear in the new Approvals section under Products, where you can review them before they are added to your catalogue. You can select individual products or all products at once, then either accept or reject them. When rejecting, you are prompted to provide a reason. Accepting triggers a flow to process the products into your catalogue, and the page will notify you when that is underway with a link to view the flow progress.
A new step type, Convert, is now available in the Calculate Value dialog when configuring template mappings. You can use it to automatically convert numeric values between units of measure during mapping, for example, converting a supplier's measurements from centimetres to feet. Simply select the dimension (such as Length), the source unit, and the target unit, and the conversion is handled automatically when the mapping runs.
The Import Products, Export Products, and Accept Products wizards now each open with an introduction page explaining what the wizard does and how each step works before you begin. This gives you a clear overview of the process upfront, so you know what to expect before stepping through the wizard.
You can now delete multiple products at once from both My Products and My Suppliers Products. Select the products you want to remove using the checkboxes, then click the Delete button that appears above the list. You will be asked to confirm before the deletion is carried out, as the action cannot be undone.
Product Templates have moved out of the Hive Control Centre and into the main left sidebar navigation, making them directly accessible from anywhere in the platform. The section now has three distinct areas: My Templates (your own templates), Shared Templates (templates shared with you by connected companies), and Mappings. Mappings have been separated from the individual template pages and now have their own dedicated area, where you can see all mappings in one place and create new ones independently. The New from File page has also been updated to a full-page experience rather than a side panel.
The “Save product information to an Excel file to download” Store action has been replaced with “Save product information to a file to download”, which now supports exporting to Excel, CSV, and JSON formats. You can enable one or more formats simultaneously, with each selected format generating its own downloadable file when the Flow runs.
You can now log in to the Hive using your Microsoft account. On the login screen, click Continue with Microsoft and authenticate using your existing Microsoft credentials — no separate HivePix password required. New users can also sign up for a HivePix account using their Microsoft account via the same option on the sign-up screen.
The Organisation Settings page in the Hive Control Centre has been renamed to Hive Sync Settings to better reflect its purpose of determining product folder names for the Hive Sync application.
The New from File experience has been redesigned as a full dedicated page rather than a side panel, with a cleaner layout for reviewing and adjusting the generated fields before saving. The page now also clearly explains supported file formats and structural requirements upfront. The AI that analyses your source file has been improved to more accurately detect field types, suggest display names, and identify dropdown options from your data.
When sharing products with a customer or supplier, the Share Wizard was not sending the notification emails as expected. This has been fixed, and now when you share products, the intended recipients will receive an email notification with the details of the shared products.
